Our Services

We provide help if you:

1) Are in pain.

2) Are active or want to be.

3) Want to improve performance.

Diagnostic Approach

An accurate diagnosis is paramount for treatment success. Through our movement assessment, orthopedic testing, and hands-on approach, our doctors determine the cause of your issue and make a plan to help you correct it.

Chiropractic Care

A chiropractic adjustment is given to release joint adhesion and improve range of motion throughout the body.

Typically provides an immediate pain relief as well. Our adjustments are influenced by many techniques and suitable for all ages.

Ozone Injections

How about putting the power of oxygen into painful and injured tissues? Indeed we can with safe, simple, and effective injections.

Acupuncture

This is based on restoration of the body’s natural healing energy.

The body is stimulated by placing needles into points along “meridians”. There are fourteen known meridians that are connected to the body’s organs and travel up & down the entire body.

Therapeutic Modalities

These are commonly used in physical therapist offices and we also provide them with your treatment. (ultrasound, electric stim, traction, decompression, PEMF, etc)

This combined with our acupuncture acts as a regular spa treatment! Pretty sure this is why many keep coming back.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

We take your own blood and extract the components that stimulate healing in the body.

Using your own body to create tissue regeneration = Awesome!

Functional Rehabilitation

Functional rehab is an extension of traditional physical therapy.

We place a heavy focus on teaching exercises that will help you get better and stay better on your own long term rather than relying on drugs – or us – to keep you well.

Then we can get you set up in our gym Hyde Park Fitness!

Muscle Work

The muscle work that we provide is not the same as a massage.

It is designed to release adhesion, activate the muscle, and help increase range of motion.

We also teach ways that you can help maintain the muscle integrity on your own.

Ozone Therapy

Ozone is anti-microbial. It makes the cells in the body function better.

Ozone is oxygen. You HAVE to have oxygen!!!

Ozone is helpful for getting well, staying well, and living longer!

Our Model

At Whole Body Health Care, we believe true health isn’t just the absence of pain — it’s the ability to move, work, train, and live with confidence. Think of your health as your most valuable asset. When you’re in pain, it’s like being in debt, with life’s demands creating a deficit. Many people stop care, stop doing their exercises, and really stop trying once the pain is gone. They get a high from the feeling that they’ve “broken even.” But just as paying off debt isn’t the same as being financially rich, getting out of pain isn’t the same as being truly healthy. Really, you’re just back to the person that fell into pain.

We are effective in treating pain, but we don’t stop there. Using a unique blend of chiropractic care, corrective rehab, acupuncture, and advanced injection therapies, we guide you through a strategic financial plan for your body that happens in 3 phases of care:

Phase 1: Break Even (Pain Relief)

Our initial focus is to relieve pain quickly and get you out of “debt” and back to your “break even” baseline. This is the essential first step, like paying off your immediate bills.

Phase 2: Make Deposits (Dysfunction Correction)

Once pain is managed, we move to correcting underlying dysfunctions to prevent re-injury. This is where you start “making deposits” into your health account, building resilience and stability for future “withdrawals”.

Phase 3: Invest (Optimized Performance)

Finally, we help you optimize performance so you can do more of what you love. This phase is about “investing” your health savings, allowing you to not just maintain, but thrive!

Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or looking to level up your physical performance, we create custom care plans that meet you where you are — and help you build toward where you want to be.

We’re not a cookie-cutter clinic. We take our time, we listen, and we treat with purpose. And when you walk through our doors, you’ll know right away: you’re in the right place.

Let’s get going and invest in your Whole Body Health.

Meet The Doctors

Dr. Manwaring's Family

Zachary Manwaring DC, DIANM

Dr. Manwaring is a board-certified chiropractic physician with neuromusculoskeletal emphasis committed to helping people move better, feel stronger, and live pain-free — without relying on drugs or surgery.

Dr. Manwaring grew up in Woods Cross, Utah. After completing his bachelor’s degree at USU & BYU-Idaho in social work, he worked for a time and then switched gears and went to St. Louis, Missouri for a Doctorate of Chiropractic at Logan University. In addition, he serves as an adjunct professor for Logan University, serves on the Chiropractic DOPL board, has attained his diplomate with the International Academy of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and serves as the Chairman for their Injection Therapies Committee.

When he’s not in the clinic, he’s teaching other providers through his continuing education company, Whole Body Institute, and working to elevate the future of conservative care.

Dr. Manwaring blends advanced diagnostics, hands-on care, targeted rehab, acupuncture, and cutting-edge regenerative medicine to create long-lasting results. He doesn’t just chase symptoms — he helps patients correct dysfunction, rebuild strength, and take control of their long-term health.

“As a social worker, I saw that the systems in place treated people with a lot of drugs that masked symptoms and issues. It never treated causes. While I spent the most time with people, I had the least amount of control in their care. I had to sit silently as I saw families ripped apart when they were supposed to be helped.

“I stumbled upon chiropractic treatment during this time, and immediately connected with the idea of conservative care and allowing the body to more or less do its own healing. Bettering life without the use of drugs and surgeries? Was it possible? It was and it is! Now, in the position of an entry-level provider, I can treat patients as I see best. I have the ability to help. Better still, I can focus on causes rather than symptoms only.  Being able to listen to patients and treat their issues is very rewarding. I also find that I’m doing more counseling now than I did before.

“Our physical health influences our mental, emotional, and spiritual health (and vice-versa). Though our focus is on the physical we see a lot of great victories in the other areas as well. It’s extremely rewarding to see people get better, gain hope and confidence, and get back to what they love. Living a longer life isn’t as difficult as it used to be. However, life in a vegetative state with a dependency on medication is not my goal. I’d rather focus on moving longer than simply existing longer. That’s our aim.”

Retired-Morgan Carlson DC

Now enjoying his well earned retirement, Dr. Carlson grew up watching the Jack LaLanne Show and doing his exercises. He graduated from USU as a mechanical engineer, got a job and hated it. He knew he had to change. He was very interested in fitness and looked up to Lou Ferrigno, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Franco Columbo. He found out the latter was a chiropractor. He learned physical therapists were not entry-level providers so chiropractic looked like his route and would fit with fitness.

At the time he had purchased a small gym and was running it. He moved it with him up to Portland, OR where he attended Western States Chiropractic College. As a freshman, he won the Mr. Natural bodybuilding competition for Oregon. The school made a big deal about it and he talked them into letting him set up his gym on campus. Later, he created the first rehab/exercise course for the school. Eventually, he graduated valedictorian and moved down to Layton, UT to work with another chiropractor.

Unfortunately, he found out this doctor was more concerned with making money than making people better. So Dr. Carlson moved up to Logan and set up his gym (Jake’s Gym) – where Al’s is currently located – and eventually got his clinic going as well. When he made the move to Hyde Park he was sure to include space for a gym – now Hyde Park Fitness.

For Dr. Carlson, it started with fitness and It’s always been about the gym, working out, and getting people better. His 4 facets of life are that you are what you eat, stress has to be managed, exercise is the great equalizer, and sleep is a priority.
